Adventure Bus Agreement Form
Please review the following conditions to determine your qualification for use of the Adventure Bus Program:
The Adventure Bus service is directed to organizations that serve youth that are deemed to be disadvantaged. The organization must be non-profit. The service is focused on youth ages 5-17.
Each group will be allotted 8 trips maximum each year. The year starts July 1st and ends on June 30th.
Adventure Bus does not offer service on holidays.
Remember the bus may not arrive at 9:00 am depending on distance from Union Station.
All TARC coaches are accessible. Each coach has two wheelchair-secured areas. Advise TARC if more wheelchair spaces are needed.
Service will be provided on first-come, first-served basis, so please make requests as early as possible.
Request must be made at least two week in advance.
Plan your trip carefully. If the outing requires a second destination, clearly list it on the form. TARC will not take requests while the trip is in progress. Make destination changes up to one week prior to requesting an Adventure Bus. There will be no last minute changes accepted.
Use one form for each trip request. Include complete address. Requests will not be processed until all information is provided.
Ashley Sutton will confirm requests by phone, fax, mail or e-mail. Reservations are always confirmed. If you don't hear from TARC
via fax, email or phone, within 7-business days please call 502-561-5165 to verify.
Service area: Jefferson, and parts of Oldham, Bullitt, counties in Kentucky and Floyd and Clark counties in Indiana.
Group size: Our large buses hold 40 passengers. If you have as few as 10 wanting to take a trip, coordinate with another group to maximize efficiency.
Each group must have a coordinator and chaperones. Large groups must have several leaders.
If your organization misses more than 2 trips, meaning you did not call to cancel, your organization will not be eligible for transportation for 6 months.
